Academia Meets Industry: Fostering Innovation  – Unlocking the full potential of industry- academia collaboration and the future of innovation in Life Sciences and Healthcare

About this event:

Join us at Cardiff Medicentre as we:

  • Showcase successful academia-industry collaboration examples
  • Signpost routes to building collaborative relationships
  • Discuss the right (and wrong) approaches to grow a collaborative relationship
  • Encourage networking and making new connections

Academia and industry can offer each other distinct perspectives, opportunities and skills. Bringing scientific and commercial expertise together can fast-track product development, industry efficiencies, and novel solutions. But how do academic-industry partnerships start, develop, and succeed?

This event will demystify the complexities of collaboration between industry and academia.

Through keynote speakers and an interactive panel discussion we will showcase successful collaboration projects, highlight tangible outcomes, and signpost routes to collaboration.

Attendees will have the chance to network and share a passion for innovation and R&D in the Medtech, Biotech and healthcare sector.
