29.06.2017 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Morgan Academy are hosting a  one day Symposia Event at the School of Management on 29 June, chaired by Adrian Masters, ITV Wales.   The Morgan Academy is a new research and policy unit based in the School of Management which aims to become a world leading centre of pioneering research addressing global challenges.  The Academy aims to break boundaries to produce results which could dramatically improve the wellbeing of this and future generations.

The one day  panel debate to challenge the state of readiness  of key public services and sectors with a particular focus on health, wealth and leisure and what is holding us back in Wales.  The big question we need to answer is:  “Digital Futures in health and wellbeing,  Can public services survive without them”?

The aim of the symposium is  a one day debate to challenge the state of readiness of key pubic services and sectors with a particular focus on health,  supported by an industry perspective.

The objectives of the symposium is to seek to make an impact by taking new approaches to addressing the big questions in public policy including scientific technological, economic and social questions by developing policy recommendations and working with a wide range of stakeholders to translate them into action.
