Applications for exhibitors and visitors with the Welsh Government Trade Mission at Medica 2015 are now open

Closing dates for applications:
Exhibitors: Friday 5 June 2015
Visitors: Friday 17 July 2015

Medica 2015, the leading global trade exhibition for the medical sector, will take place from Monday 16 to Thursday 19 November 2015 in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The Welsh Government hosted a highly successful mission in 2014, taking around 90 delegates. Its presence in both the International and Diagnostics Halls provides the opportunity to meet with distributors and buyers from around the world. Read our flyer here for more details.

The Welsh Government are offering 3 packages for companies to either exhibit or visit:

Package A: Exhibitor (maximum of 2 delegates per company) either 6m2 space: £3,314 or 2m2 pod: £2,514
For two people: Return flights and in market transfers (two-way); 5 nights’ accommodation (with breakfast); exhibition registration, stand package, online/catalogue entry, 4 day Medica exhibitor pass

Package B: 4 Day Visitor £644 (maximum of 1 delegate per company)
Return flights and in market transfers (one way); 4 nights’ accommodation (with breakfast); 4 day Medica visitor pass

Package C: 2 Day Visitor £517 (maximum of 1 delegate per company)
Return flights and in market transfers (one way); 3 nights’ accommodation (with breakfast); 2 day Medica visitor pass

These prices include 50% support for Welsh companies. Non-commercial organisations do not receive this support and will pay the full price, as will any additional delegates. Subject to eligibility, only two exhibitors or one visitor per organisation will be guaranteed a flight/accommodation. If additional delegates are required, they will be put on a reserve list and attendance confirmed following the closing date for visitor applications.

To submit your application: please read and complete the Medica 2015 – Application Form, as previous participants on Medica Trade Missions, please also complete the Record of Export Business Secured form, giving details of the value of export business secured in respect of all previous Medica missions, sign and return both to: Gareth Stokes, Trade Team, Welsh Government, QED Centre, Main Avenue, Treforest Ind Estate, Pontypridd, CF37 5YR

ABHI

Every year around 132,000 specialist visitors from over 120 countries meet and find out about innovations and trends in the medical sector. Over 4,600 exhibitors market their products, maintain contact with their customers and achieve new business perspectives.

Last year the ABHI took in excess of 110 companies within the UK pavilion to meet with distributors and buyers from around the world and to discuss business with existing contacts. Medica attracts users of medical products and services including surgical equipment, implantable devices, physiotherapy products, communications systems and diagnostic equipment.
