Wales Festival of Innovation: The Angelina Jolie Effect – exploring how breast cancer runs in families

This interactive, public event will explore the genetics of breast cancer and what it may mean for you. Clinicians and researchers will talk about the advances in this area, and someone affected by inherited breast cancer will share their story and personal experiences. There will also be time for discussion and questions with our experts. This event is being organised in collaboration with Cancer Research UK.

This event is open to all members of the public with an interest in health, genetics and breast cancer.

Learn about the latest findings and advances in the area of inherited breast cancer and find out more about what it is like to be affected by the condition. The audience will also have the opportunity to discuss the subject with the expert panel in a question and answer session.
