Wales Festival of Innovation: WWIC – Welsh innovation in wound prevention and treatment

Innovation in wound healing will be highlighted at an event held in the Welsh Wound Innovation Centre on June 30th.

Wound management consumes up to 6% of the budget of NHS Wales. This Open Day will celebrate the innovative products developed in Wales to improve wound management and so reduce cost and improve patients’ lives.

The event will focus on the scale and nature of wounds in Wales and highlight the many ways in which Welsh industry, academia and the NHS seek to improve wound prevention and management.

Open to anyone with an interest in how wounds are prevented and treated, the event is free to attend and for companies who are located in Wales there is an opportunity to showcase your innovative products. To showcase your products, get get in touch

Between June 20th and July 1st, Wales hosts the 2016 Festival of Innovation.

The Wales Festival of Innovation is set to showcase innovation here in Wales through a number of events, run by companies and academia. It will provide innovators with the opportunity to network with industry experts, showcase their products and services to potential customers and members of the public from across Wales and beyond.
