DESCRIPTION:The twenty-first annual MediWales Innovation Awards will be held on Thursday 10th December\, at the Mercure Holland House Hotel\, Cardiff. \nThe MediWales Innovation Awards are kindly supported by Welsh Government\, Health and Care Research Wales and NHS Wales. \nMediWales will welcome industry members\, academia and health and social care staff to the Mercure Holland House Hotel\, Cardiff for a fabulous evening celebrating the amazing achievements of the life science sector in Wales. \nThe MediWales Innovation Awards are regional awards\, as part of the wider Medilink UK network. Each of the Industry Awards winners will automatically be entered into the Medilink UK National Awards competition. \nThe MediWales Innovation Awards are divided into two categories; Industry awards and Health awards. \nOnly Welsh companies or companies with a footprint in Wales are eligible to apply for the Industry awards. \nOnly Welsh health boards\, social care or companies working in collaboration with a Welsh health board or social care are eligible to apply for the Health Awards. All applications for the Health Awards must come from the health and social care professionals/clinicians/health board that the company has worked in collaboration with. \nOur 2026 award categories are as follows: \nIndustry awards \n\nInnovation\nStart Up\nPartnership with the NHS\nExport\nOutstanding Achievement\n\nHealth awards \n\nHealth and Social Care – Industry Collaboration\nTechnology and Digital Impact\nScaling Up Innovation and Transformation\nSocial Care Innovation\nHealth and Social Care Research Partnership with Industry\n\nThe MediWales Innovation Awards will open for applications in early September.
