DESCRIPTION:This workshop takes the principles of a great pitch and applies them to all potential presentation scenarios – from an ‘elevator pitch’ or Dragons Den-style investor pitch to a customer or internal presentation. It is designed for all presenters\, regardless of confidence or experience and is in three parts: \nOrganisation  \n\nThe value of a clear objective and rigorous planning and preparation\nThe importance of understanding the audience and the messages that will resonate with them\nHow to organise thoughts and arguments into a compelling and engaging storyline\n\nCreation  \n\nHow to combine text\, images\, video etc to bring the pitch alive\nThe dos and don’ts of PowerPoint and other tools\nThinking beyond the slides – props\, interaction and other great techniques\n\nDramatisation  \n\nOvercoming nerves\nPreparing and using the room\nHow to command and engage the audience – using eyes\, voice\, hands\, the space\n\nThe workshop is free to attend but pre-registration is essential.  A light buffet lunch will be provided. \nDavid Ward Walton was taught presentation and pitching skills by some of the best in the business – notably during his time as a Group Director of Saatchi and Saatchi.
