SUMMARY:The FT Global Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Conference
DESCRIPTION:The FT Global Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Conference\, now in its 33rd successful year\, is a must-attend for industry executives\, thought leaders and investors wishing to keep abreast of the emerging trends reshaping the global healthcare and life sciences industry. \nAs the global healthcare industry shifts and transforms\, so too must the life science industry.  Life science companies will need to adjust strategies to a world in which only true innovation and improved patient outcomes become the key determinant of value in the healthcare system. They will also need to develop commercial models which take account of the changing power balance between provider\, payer and patients-all the while keeping a watchful eye on the competitive landscape for the incursion of non-traditional players with whom they will increasingly compete-or partner- to deliver patient-centred products and services. Meanwhile\, scrutiny of high prices for speciality drugs and advanced technologies is increasing\, impacting the ability of life science companies to bring much needed innovation to patients. \nHow will the industry’s future unfold? \n20% discount for MediWales members \nFind out more and register here after getting your 20% discount code from enquiries@biopartner.co.uk

SUMMARY:Innovate UK: dallas
DESCRIPTION:Coming soon\, to four locations in the UK\, is the dallas story. Join us to see\, hear and question Innovation Health and Wealth in action. \ndallas delivered control\, choice\, community\, connectedness\, contribution and collaboration \nDigital technology has had a significant impact on other key sectors such as retail and banking so what is holding back its wide scale adoption in health and care? \n– dallas delivered control deliberately placing the individual at the centre of health and care in real terms. Understanding this social impact is a significant step in forwarding this agenda and providing the foundation to support demographic change. \n– dallas delivered choice but are citizens ready to be consumers of digital self-care. Are health and social care professionals ready? How has everyday access to mobile phones\, IPads\, Apps\, Smart TVs and consumerism influenced population and professional attitudes to health and wellbeing and specifically self-care? \n– dallas has engaged whole communities. It has undertaken significant work to understand why individuals will or won’t participate in health and wellbeing and in particular interface with digital health and care. We’ve explored market and stakeholder readiness for the digital self-care revolution. What makes communities tick and what are the tipping points for individuals? dallas can answer that question and provide evidence of what does and doesn’t work. \n– dallas is innovation at scale borne out of being different\, agile\, diverse and disruptive.
