DESCRIPTION:BioWales returns in 2011 to showcase the bioscience sector in Wales to an international\, commercial and academic audience of delegates with a conference\, brokerage event and exhibition. DESCRIPTION:  \nThis  workshop is a unique opportunity for you to be briefed on the potential of High  Performance Computing to support the development of your new products &  services and to shape the development of the HPC Wales  project. \n \nHigh  Performance Computing (HPC) Wales will become operational in the second half of  2011. It will put in place pan-Wales infrastructure\, interfaces\, expertise and  training resources directed at enabling Welsh businesses and researchers to  utilise High Performance Computing to deliver long-term competitive advantage  and to create new products and services.\n \nOrganisational  activities envisaged to accrue particular benefits from HPC  include:\n\nModelling\nSimulations\nData storage &  analysis\nData  mining\n\n \nThe  aims of this consultative workshop are:\n\nRaising awareness  amongst prospective user organisations and discussing potential  applications.\nDetermining how  business will engage with and be part of the development of HPC Wales\, at both  strategic and operational levels.
