DESCRIPTION:As part of a new "bio-bridging" initiative to ensure the UK is the "Partner of Choice for China" and other key emerging markets\, the initiative aims to open new gateways to partner with domestic and foreign pharmaceutical companies based in China\, understand better the Chinese regulatory environment and introduce new sources of funding.  \nTo support this initiative UK Trade & Investment are organising a mission to China from the 21st to 28th September 2011. \nMission Programme: \nThe mission coincides with the 4th Annual BioBay Investor Forum to be held in Suzhou which is expected to attract more than 200 attendees and 50 VCs. The mission will then move to Shanghai\, which is now home to 18 of the top 20 global pharmaceutical companies to meet senior officials from government\, pharmaceutical companies and investors.
