Health and Care Research Wales Faculty Mentoring Programme – call for mentors

Are you a researcher who could share your knowledge and experiences with researchers who are at an earlier stage in their career, or with others facing challenges that you have also faced and overcome?

The Faculty is looking for researchers at all stages in their career who feel they have experience which could benefit others along their career pathway.

We would value your support in becoming mentors as part of the new Faculty Mentoring Programme.

As a Faculty Mentor you will:

• Have the opportunity to engage in a series of supportive, goal orientated discussions with a mentee(s) in areas where you have more experience and so can act as a guide and advisor.
• Be formally matched to your mentee(s) to facilitate optimal fit between mentee and mentor pairs
• Have access to support and training opportunities to hone your mentoring skills and get peer support throughout the programme.
