MediWales Launchpad offers new support for life science start-ups

In partnership with Space2B at the Maltings, MediWales has launched a new hot-desk facility for life science start-ups and spin-outs as part of the MediWales Life Sciences Accelerator.

Based alongside the MediWales team at our offices in Cardiff, the Launchpad provides early-stage companies with a flexible base from which to work, develop their business and connect with the wider Welsh life sciences community.

Available as part of MediWales start-up membership, the Launchpad facilities include a desk, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee, and direct access to the MediWales team for advice, introductions and connections to relevant partners and support.

The Launchpad forms the first stage of the MediWales Life Sciences Accelerator, which structures our support for companies around three stages of development: Launchpad, Investor Ready and Global Growth. The programme is designed to help companies access the connections, expertise, investment opportunities and wider support they need as they develop and grow.

The new facilities provide hot-desk capacity for up to, creating an accessible entry point into the MediWales network and the wider Welsh life sciences ecosystem.
