PDR Celebrates Double Win at the Red Dot Design Concept Awards 2025

PDR is proud to announce that two of its innovative healthcare design concepts — Me. and Tidal — have been recognised with prestigious Red Dot Design Concept Awards 2025. These awards celebrate excellence in design innovation and reinforce PDR’s commitment to user-centred approaches that improve real-world outcomes.

Me. is a personalised monitoring device designed to support women experiencing menopausal symptoms. Developed through extensive research and direct engagement with peri- and post-menopausal women, Me. features a discreet wearable micro-needle patch with embedded sensors for continuous hormone monitoring. Paired with an intuitive app, it empowers users to better understand their symptoms and take targeted action through medication, self-help, or lifestyle changes.

Tidal is a personalised assistive technology design service, co-developed with Swansea Bay University Health Board. Delivered through an online platform, Tidal enables users and healthcare professionals to co-design assistive devices tailored to individual needs. This approach is designed to improve satisfaction, usability, and long-term adoption, to help reduce premature equipment abandonment.

“It’s fantastic to see our work recognised on a global stage. These awards are a testament to the strength of our user-centred design approach and the dedication of everyone involved.”
