How to apply for STEMM research equipment
The Welsh Government Office for Science is inviting Welsh universities to bid for capital funding to purchase equipment for STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine and Maths) research.
The total fund available will be up to £2.5 million.
Applicants will be able to apply for equipment funding worth up to £600,000 per application.
The Sêr Cymru programme will fund 80% of the full economic cost.
Applications supporting co-funding opportunities that enable additional funding from other sources will be considered.
How to apply
Further details will be available on the Welsh Government website by late September, with a deadline for applications of 28 October 2022. Dates may change.
Applicants will be asked to submit a 2 to 3 page case for support and a short CV.
If successful, applicants will need to:
- provide evidence of invoice and delivery of equipment by 31 March 2023.
Applicants will need to decide on an appropriate procurement approach to meet this timescale.
