Out of this, over EUR 4 billion is destined exclusively for the acquisition of medical equipment in such sectors as oncology, diagnostics, radiotherapy, neurology, cardiology, transplant and more.

This seminar, held in conjunction with UKTI CEN,  will be invaluable for UK medical technology companies currently exporting or looking to export into the region. The programme will assess opportunities within Central and Eastern European markets and will address the challenges companies face when they look to grow their business in this region, covering Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia and Croatia.

Seminar Content

The day will commence with an introduction to the region, providing an overview of opportunities. A panel of key players and decision makers from the region will update delegates on the main local investment projects, future plans for development and ways to access them.

In addition, the event will provide insight into the regulatory environment, legal considerations for exporting to the region and will inclufe a company case study. The seminar will end with a Q&A session and a networking lunch.
