Cardiff University: Futures Connect Work Experience Opportunities
The Futures Connect Team sit centrally within Cardiff University and promote a variety of placements to students across all colleges and schools. The team can offer a variety of companies high-calibre, independent and pro-active students to support you with a particular project, or aspect of your organisations work. These opportunities allow our students to gain an insight into a specific role or industry which helps them gain essential skills employers look for when they are applying for graduate jobs. Cardiff University recognises the importance of actual work experience to compliment the students’ academic study and we are keen to link with different organisations that we know our students would love to gain experience with.
These placements can be extremely flexible to work around you and the students studies, and can run any time throughout the year. We can offer short-term flexible Insights (unpaid up to 70 hours) or advertise paid Internships (up to 10 weeks full time). This also gives the organisation a chance to ‘try before you buy’ and see if a student would be suitable for a more long-term opportunity. We also have match-funding Internship schemes too, which is a great and affordable way to engage with the University and our students!
