MediWales Connects 2026

MediWales will be holding their annual Connects conference on the 18th June at the All Nations Centre, Cardiff.

MediWales Connects is the all Wales NHS collaboration conference for the health and care community, connecting you with NHS patient facing clinicians, innovation leads, community health, industry, government and policy makers.

Building on the excellent work that has been done around innovation adoption, we will consider the challenges involved in scaling change and adoption of new products, services and processes that deliver impact for patients across the whole NHS.

Keynote speakers confirmed for 2026 –

Jacqueline Totterdell – Director General for Health, Social Care and Early Years and Chief Executive of NHS Wales

Isabel Oliver – Chief Medical Officer for Wales

Connects aims to –

  • Highlight and showcase the excellent work being carried out by the health and care communities in Wales.
  • Improve collaborative working between health boards, industry and research communities.
  • Raise the profile of NHS Wales and clinical innovation across the UK.
  • Support closer working relationships between industry, NHS and research groups and clinical trials capabilities.
