Medilink South West Assistive Living Technology Day

12.02.2013 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Medilink South West’s next double event day will highlight key aspects of Assistive Living Technology (ALT) and Medilink SW’s role in developing an implementation strategy for ALT. This event will focus on the stakeholder landscape involving companies and collaborative projects involving R&D partners (academic and clinical).

Programme Event 1: UK Strength & Opportunities in the Assisted Living Market, Regional profiles – The South, East & London

(See here for event covering Wales’ capability maps)

In a complex and difficult market, it is critical that providers of assisted living products and services understand where gaps in the UK assisted living market lie and where opportunities for new business can be found.

Commissioned by the HealthTech and Medicines KTN in 2011, Medilink and SEHTA have produced 12 regional assisted living capability maps that provide industry with a high-level snapshot of each region’s demographic, economic and health statistics. This seminar will show you how to access and exploit this information!

Looking at the statistics for the South, East and London, together with an overview of the current assisted living activity in each region, delegates attending this seminar will have a unique opportunity to explore and discuss where opportunities may be found for increased sales, new business and product development.

So if information such as ‘which regions have a high concentration of a particular long term condition?’ or ‘where is there a growing dependence on prescribed services?’ is of benefit to you, then join Medilink on 12th February to discover more.
