SPIN – Swansea Paid Internship Network

Swansea University has recently launched  SPIN – the Swansea University Paid Internship Network in partnership with South Wales Evening Post.

This scheme is to help undergraduates gain valuable knowledge and experience of working life by obtaining paid work placements during the summer holiday period. The aim is for the students to undertake either a single large project or a range of smaller projects, determined by the employer to fit with their business needs.

SPIN is open to all students to apply but is targeted at 2nd year students in particular.

Businesses who take part in the scheme will be highlighted in the South Wales Evening Post for their contribution in helping create the future leaders of our economy.

Medtech SME’s can obviously utilise this scheme and there are over 500 students looking for an internship.
