Med-Tech Innovation EXPO 2014 Medical Device Manufacturing Conference

Event Date: 2 – 3 April 2014, Ricoh Arena, Coventry, UK

Med-Tech Innovations Expo 2014 is continuing and strengthening its successful relationship with ABHI (Association of British Healthcare Industries) and Medilink UK (national health technology businesses support organisation) to host the Medical Device Manufacturing Conference as an integral element within the exhibition.  Targeted at the research and development and design engineering community of medical device OEMs, this year’s EXPO has expanded to four times the floor space with up to 150 top medical supply-chain companies exhibiting everything from raw materials and components to manufacturing equipment and services.

Created as the UK medical device industry’s premier exhibition and conference event, Med-Tech Innovation Expo 2014, caters for the £15bn market that has grown up based on Britain’s capabilities as a centre of excellence for the research, design, development and manufacture of medical devices.

The event is an opportunity for this increasingly important sector to network with key supply-chain organisations and provides a platform to gain valuable knowledge on best practice and industry innovation from the wide-ranging conference streams which include Designing in Innovation, Creating a Competitive Supply Chain, and Skills for Industry.

Colin Martin, director of MedTech Communications Ltd, organiser of the exhibition said.

The medical device industry is a major growth market for the UK and there are thousands of small innovative organisations that need this exhibition platform to understand the tremendous opportunities available to them.

We have worked tirelessly with our partners ABHI and Medilink to develop Med-Tech Innovation Expo 2014 into a focussed, easily accessed, and we hope a must attend event.

Med-Tech Innovation EXPO 2014 will also host the Medilink UK Awards 2014 which shine a spotlight on the sector’s highest achievers and demonstrates the continued innovation, diversification and sustainability of UK Life Science businesses.

The Ricoh Arena was chosen for its location within the heartland of the med-tech industry in the UK and for its excellent facilities and transport connections both national and international.
