This year ABHI’s Summer Event will focus on the new NHS Procurement Policy, which is due to be published this spring. This event will look at the key issues affecting the medical technology sector with regard to Procurement.

With a keynote address from Health Minister Simon Burns MP (invited) the conference will provide senior managers from the medical technology sector with an overview of the strategy from senior people in procurement.

The event will guide attendees through the strategic approaches NHS organisations and procurement intermediaries will take when implementing the strategy, before looking at how the strategy will be delivered locally. The conference will then look at the changing role of procurement, before looking at the future trends in public procurement, taking into account new initiatives for SMEs, with a view from the NHS.

With Input from intermediaries, local NHS Organisations and central purchasing bodies this event is a must for business leaders in the Medical Technology Industry, whatever size of company you are in.
