Baden-Württemburg International alongside their renowned research institutes, the Fraunhofer IPA and Fraunhofer IGB, the University of Stuttgart and the University of Hohenheim, are inviting international companies to their exclusive delegation trip to explore the Biointelligence research and industry in Stuttgart and Baden-Württemberg, from 5th – 7th October 2026.
Participating companies will get the opportunity to connect directly with companies, research institutions, and innovators who are actively working at the intersection of production tech, information tech, food tech and bio tech in our region.
Additionally, they can take part in the 3rd Biointelligence Congress in Stuttgart, on 6th October at a reduced rate.
For the delegation part, we offer three different tracks:
- Food & nutrition industry: Baden-Württemberg offers a globally competitive FoodTech and Nutrition ecosystem where a strong industrial base, cutting-edge research in biotechnology and life sciences, and the region’s pioneering biointelligence approach drive innovations from alternative proteins and precision fermentation to sustainable food production and personalised nutrition.

- Biointelligent production: Baden-Württemberg is pioneering the next generation of biointelligent production technologies, where world-leading engineering expertise, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and biological principles converge to create adaptive, resource-efficient, and sustainable industrial solutions.
The program offers:
- An introduction to state-of-the-art biointelligence activities and projects in our region
- An exclusive company visit to Festo & Adiro, with insights into their LifeTech division
- Participation in the 3rd Biointelligence Congress at Messe Stuttgart – with keynote speeches, exhibition booths, and an evening networking event
- Guided visits to the University of Stuttgart, University of Hohenheim, Fraunhofer IPA, and Fraunhofer IGB
- Direct exchange with researchers, companies, and potential cooperation partners
- Thematic deep dives dedicated to our focus areas (health tech; food tech; production)
