Cogent is tremendously excited to be officially launching its new Life Science Skills Awards programme this year.

The evening will be hosted by Professor Lord Robert Winston and promises to be a real celebration and recognition of excellence and achievement.

The Awards themselves will be introduced by the Rt Hon David Willetts and the first ceremony will be held at the Connaught Rooms London on 16th May 2013.

The new Life Science Skills Awards scheme is set to reward apprentices, individuals, providers and employers who have excelled in contributing to the development of skills within the life sciences sector.

They will showcase and celebrate the achievements of those who have:

• exceeded expectations and shown a dynamic approach to training
• demonstrated initiative and enterprise, innovation and creativity
• shown an understanding and commitment to the improvement of skills development.
