The use of excellent design can mean the success of a new product. Good project management, an appropriate design specification, meeting cost and delivery targets and creating an attractive product that is a delight to use is all down to applying the right design skills.

As part of the annual Cardiff Design Festival this event is a celebration of excellence in Welsh design. Case study presentations by leading Welsh designers will show how design has delivered successful products for Welsh manufacturers and will demonstrate how good design can and does make a difference to the success of a product.

Presentations by leading Welsh design practitioners and manufacturers will showcase work they have done with clients with the support of Business Innovation-Design and will include details of how Business Innovation-Design, part of the Welsh Government Business Innovation programme, can provide expert support and funding.

There will be networking opportunities and an exhibition space where delegates can discuss specific projects with design companies and Business Innovation-Design Managers.

Eleni fel rhan o Wŷl Ddylunio Caerdydd mae’r digwyddiad hon yn dathlu dylunio Cymreig rhagorol. Fe ddangosir gyflwyniadau o astudiaethau achos gan ddylunwyr Cymreig arweiniol, sut mae eu dylunio wedi cyflawni cynnyrch llwyddiannus i weithgynhyrchwyr Cymreig a dangos rôl dylunio i wneud gwahaniaeth mewn llwyddiant cynnyrch.

Bydd y cyflwyniadau yn arddangos gwaith ymarferwyr a gweithgynhyrchwyr Cymreig gyda’u clientau drwy gefnogaeth Arloesedd Busnes – Dylunio, a bydd yn cynnwys manylion rhaglen Arloesedd Busnes Llywodraeth Cymru a’i darpariaeth o gefnogaeth a chyllid arbenigol.
