The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), Health Technology Wales (HTW), the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the National Health Service England (NHSE), the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the Office for Life Sciences (OLS), and the Scottish Health Technologies Group (SHTG) are pleased to announce the launch of the Innovative Devices Access Pathway Pilot today.
The pilot regulatory pathway supports, the rapid development of innovative technologies that meet an unmet clinical need for adoption into the NHS by providing innovators and manufacturers with a multi-partner support and targeted scientific advice.
This launch follows the announcement of the IDAP on 25th May 2023 and invites innovators to submit Expressions of Interest for access into the pathway. To learn more and submit and Expression of Interest, please follow the link to the webpage here. The closing date is 29thOctober 2023.
DHSC will be hosting a webinar 9-10am on 3rd October 2023 and providing a forum for innovators to understand more about the IDAP pathway and ask questions to the panel representing the partners of the pathway. DHSC will be joined by:
