Holistic health-monitoring is not just a mantra but a functional necessity as we face the challenge of paying for healthcare provision for a fast-growing ageing population, with an increasing average lifespan and improved independent living targets. The NHS system is currently struggling to meet operating costs whilst continuing to improve patient care and manage these on-going challenges.

To address this need, Medilink UK is bringing together giants from the motorsport, automotive and medtech industries at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. The focus will be on remote monitoring, data acquisition, better analytics and easy to use data monitoring.

Keynote talks will be delivered by Williams Advanced Engineering, Magna, Leica Biosystems and Siemens Healthcare. These global business leaders come together to share their leading edge innovation and outline the challenges in their continual drive for excellence.

The event will also host two exhibitions, focusing on early stage (morning) or mature stage (afternoon) technologies that could have application in the automotive and/or medtech industries. Exhibitors are guaranteed a short ‘speed-date’ with the key businesses who are supporting the event, whilst all delegates will have the opportunity to network with other attendees throughout the day at breakfast and lunch.
