NISCHR develops, in consultation with partners, policy on research and development (R&D) to reflect the health and social care priorities of the Welsh Assembly Government.  We aim to support the creation of high-quality evidence to both inform policy and benefit patients and the public.  NISCHR also commissions and directly funds R&D activity, contract managing projects and initiatives to ensure that the highest standards are met www.wales.gov.uk/nischr

NISCHR would like to invite the health and social care R&D community to an information event.  There have been a lot of developments over the last year, and this event provides an opportunity to hear about these in more detail and to meet the NISCHR team. In particular the event will cover:

• NISCHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and Units (BRU)
• NISCHR Academic Health Science Collaboration (AHSC)
• NISCHR Permissions Coordinating Unit (PCU)
• NISCHR Social Care Centre of Excellence (SCE)

There will be two separate events held (in Cardiff and Llandudno Junction) covering the same content:
