Join us for a complimentary scientific webinar focusing on the critical information that scintigraphic imaging can provide during early stage clinical research. Scintigraphic imaging facilitates acquisition of non-invasive data enabling:

• Evaluation of deposition, residence, clearance and dispersion of pharmaceutical dosage forms under physiological conditions

• Scintigraphic data may be integrated with supporting information i.e. pharmacokinetic analysis and / or in vitro studies, to provide a uniquely detailed characterisation of dosage form behavior

• Key features of the services include; a dedicated dual head gamma camera (planar, wholebody and SPECT imaging), onsite GMP facilities, Central Laboratory Services, and extensive bioanalytical functions e.g. LC-MS/MS, LC-MS, GC-MS. Support facilities include project management, data management, statistical analysis and Quality Assurance. The Clinical unit has 5 wards and 48 beds.

This webinar will highlight case studies, which demonstrate how a full service CRO with integrated scintigraphy facilities can help optimise early stage clinical development for Pharma companies.

Professor Glyn Taylor, Director of Research at Cardiff Scintigraphics will present an overview of the application of scintigraphic imaging to pharmaceutical development and provide details of some published case studies covering a range of different dosage forms.

Dr Christopher Jeans, Research Pharmacist at Simbec Research will describe the importance of the interaction between the Pharmacy / QP function and scintigraphy group during the planning and conduct of scintigraphy studies.

Please use the VoIP option to join the webinar, should you experience any difficulties with audio then please dial in using the toll free numbers provided.
