Wild Card is a new initiative, pioneered by EIT Health, to identify and support innovative and high-risk ideas with the potential to transform an area within European healthcare. We are looking for truly ground-breaking ideas and projects, developed by the biggest and brightest minds, that will address healthcare challenges and improve the health outcomes for our citizens.
Call for Applications 2018
Wild Card seeks to transform European healthcare delivery through attracting the best and the brightest minds to solve some of the biggest challenges. These are the problems that still are unsolved, inefficiently solved or delivered in a very expensive or inconvenient format. Through Wild Card, EIT Health will support high-risk innovative ideas with transformative potential on healthcare, targeted at solving key challenges as set out by EIT Health Partners.
The two challenge areas for 2018 are:
SMART HEALTH: How to transform medical diagnostics with artificial intelligence and big data?
FIGHT BACK: How to manage antibiotic resistance in European healthcare?
Wild Card is open to anyone who is interested: academics, researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, scientists, data analysts, business analysts and advisors, or simply motivated, creative and inventive people.
