Valley Diagnostics is developing lateral flow diagnostic tests that can detect biomarkers for Prostate Cancer and Lung Cancer (and other diseases) from a urine sample. The tests are easy to use, give a result in 10 minutes with over 90% accuracy. The tests can be used by anyone in mass screening programmes, as a point-of-care test, and as an at-home test and are suitable for use by governments, NGO’s, health care providers, and as an over-the-counter solution for individuals.
