2B Enterprising Enterprise Education Programme

The Enterprise Education Programme by 2B Enterprising is delivered into schools to support teaching staff in direction and delivery of the newly appointed subject of Enterprise onto the curriculum. The schools will be given full access to an interactive electronic platform, this platform will gain them access to over 150 learning resources, as well as supply the school with 6 story books, a Hive of physical resources including seeds, pots, wrist band and pots of honey, and 3 face to face delivery sessions.

It is at these delivery sessions that we ask the businesses to attend with us. They are then able to represent their business, discuss their role and business purpose and educate the children in the different roles and functions within their industry.

This process is hugely rewarding for all participants, allowing businesses to truly see the benefit of their Partnership Investment.

As industry develops and businesses become larger and more successful, the expectation on them to “give back” or deliver an outreach process increases. The 2B Enterprising “Bumbles of Honeywood” Programme is a fantastic facilitator for this, especially in areas where the business may be unsure of how best to take a step forward in increasing their social value and engagement.

Where this programme stands alone in its position is that it covers a 12 month period, this is not for a one off event and a matter of receiving funding but no further engagement, this programme actively encourages true partnership and engagement between both the business and the school. We want to ensure that the businesses investment is valued and used to its full potential.
