Cytiva expands contract lyophilization capacity with new lab

Cytiva is pleased to announce the official opening of its new manufacturing laboratory to support its Lyo-Stable lyophilization services for genomics and diagnostics assay stabilization, at its Center of Excellence in Cardiff, UK.

The new laboratory offers increased capacity, with an additional new freeze drier and a separate, dedicated humidity-controlled kitting area. With three dedicated freeze driers, Cytiva can offer a wide range of shelf capacities to support pilot scale runs and meet the most demanding forecasts of our global customers.

The new ‘Lyo-Lab’, which has taken three months to complete, will support the growing number of lyophilization projects being undertaken and, in collaboration with our R&D laboratory, enables Cytiva to offer complete assay development, validation and manufacturing services.
