Introducing iNets South West

The South West Biomedical iNet is a £2.2 million project in receipt of European funding that serves the Biomedical sector, where the sector is defined to cover biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical technology, food and health technology.

The South West is recognised as having considerable strength within the sector, particularly within higher education and research organisations.

iNet helps to transform exciting ideas from academia, business and the NHS into new products, processes and services, benefitting the south west economy.

How do they do it?

As the name suggests, the iNets is an innovation network which brings together people with an interest in the sector. Sometimes just networking alone can make important connections, but the iNet offers more than just networking opportunities.

The consortium partners have tremendous collective knowledge and expertise and this can be accessed through the iNet. Additionally we can put you in touch with a
range of organisations that can help your business and potentially fund some of this activity.
