The theme for this EMIDRN SIG is ‘Seeing is believing: approaches to image microbial infections’ at BioCity, Nottingham.
Biological imaging technologies are moving forward fast, and the resolution is now improved enough to provide the fine detail of interactions occurring during infection at the host-pathogen interface.
This symposium brings some of these varied approaches together to enable the initiation of fruitful collaborations that will take the East Midlands to the forefront of investigations that will dissect infectious diseases at a cellular and molecular level.
During the event images of Luke Jerram’s glass sculptures of microbes that make the invisible, visible will be on show, click here to view the website.
This no-charge event is funded by the Healthcare & Bioscience iNet – project part financed by ERDF.
