Withers and Rogers Patent Box Seminar

19.06.2012 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

£20 – £25

Please click here for  the event flyer.

This seminar series is on the “Patent Box” regime which will be introduced by the government soon to provide innovative companies with considerable tax savings.

Patent Box will reduce the rate of corporation tax paid on profits from revenues associated with patented products and services from the planned rate of 23% next year down to a tapered figure of 10%. However, businesses need to act now to maximise the opportunities available.

In the Seminar, we will cover:

  • Patent Box – what is it and how it will be implemented?
  • What are the benefits?
  • What is patentable innovation?
  • How to maximise the opportunity from your research and development (R&D) activity.
  • How an Intellectual Property strategy might assist.
  • What are the key steps to be taken?
  • What are the key timings to be aware of?

If you would like to attend, bring a colleague such as your Finance Director, or indeed send someone along in your place, then please let us know via email to my colleague Carly Williams on cwilliams@withersrogers.com.

Subject to availability, places are initially limited to three people per organisation for what is already proving to be a very popular subject, so I would encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment. However, we can add additional names to a waiting list and contact them nearer the time if necessary, so please let us know if this is the case.

Please note, there will be a discounted administration fee of £20 (including VAT) per person for this seminar if you mention your membership of Medi-Wales at the time of booking. Upon allocation of a seminar place, details will be sent to you regarding payment by cheque or credit card.
