Frontier Medical Group launches UK Toto® rental business in partnership with Drive Devilbiss Healthcare
Frontier Medical Group, the specialist medical device manufacturer, has announced the launch of its new UK Toto rental business in partnership with Drive Devilbiss Healthcare.
Designed to complement Frontier’s existing capital sales, the new business offers the opportunity for customers to rent the Toto Automated Patient Turning platform, and will allow clinicians and patients easier access to the product with greater flexibility.
A key component in the company’s Pressure Ulcer Prevention product portfolio, Toto is recognised as a revolution in moving and handling equipment. Using patented technology, the Toto platform is placed under any existing mattress on any type of bed and is designed to gently move patients at regular intervals minimising the intervention of carers, offering a new approach to “Two Hourly” or “Night Time” turning.
As part of the new business, Drive Devilbiss will provide logistical and technical support by installing, collecting and decontaminating each rented Toto. With over 30 year’s experience in the healthcare market, the company is recognised as a market leader in the supply of products and services to NHS Acute, Community and Care Home sectors. Their UK wide network of service centres will ensure clinicians across the UK have the ability to rent Toto.
Simon Jackson, Managing Director at Frontier Medical Group said: “When talking to both existing and new Toto customers, the one clear message we received was that they want the ability to rent Toto”.
“The rental option, alongside capital purchase is already common in adjacent markets like Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) and Dynamic Mattresses, and by partnering with a market leader like Drive Devilbiss we are able to offer national coverage and the highest level of customer support.”
“The ability to rent Toto will significantly increase it’s availability to clinicians and help them in the prevention and treatment prevalence of pressure ulcers”.
Richard McGleenan, Managing Director at Drive Devilbiss Healthcare said “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Frontier on this exciting new business. We look forward to providing their customers with the high levels of service that Drive Devilbiss Healthcare have provided to our customers across the UK for over 30 years”.
